After three years of the Lemon Run, Team Dave-O is moving north and taking on the Lake Placid Ironman 2012! Because we couldn't make it to the Lemon Run in 2011, Amy and Peter are trying to make up for it by competing in the Ironman in memory of Amy's cousin, David Theobald.

For those of you that don't know, Alex's Lemonade Stand is an organization started by a little girl with cancer - the same type of cancer that David had. She wanted to make a difference and raise money to try to bring an end to childhood cancer. She started with her own lemonade stand, and now it has grown to the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, with thousands of supporters around the world. Like David, Alex was taken too early, but their memory helps inspire those of us that knew them - and even those of us that never had the chance.
