The event is the Inaugural NC 1/2 Marathon at the Charlotte Motor Speedway!! A 1/2 marathon which is bound to be exciting. So in my continued efforts to run each race for ALSF and raise awareness/funds for the cause I am hosting a BIG event. Starting January 1st, 2012 the virtual lemonade stand will open up and the fundraising will begin!! How does it work? Simple. Anyone who donates $5 or more will have their name placed into a drawing for some fabulous prizes. What kind? There will be local prizes for the Burlington, NC area. Prizes from NASCAR drivers themselves. Plus much more.............I am talking fun prizes. So you do not want to miss out. My last 1/2 marathon proved extremely successful, so in honor of Alex I am aiming bigger for this one. Ladies and gentleman "Start Your Engines" and donate to the cause. The sky is the limit.
