On September 16th, Alexandra and Gina Roth will each cut her hair for Locks for Love. We thought that we'd like to take our step a little further and ask friends to donate to Alex's Lemonade Stand in a "pledge" for each inch of hair we cut off. It can be anything -- $1.00/inch or $10.00/inch. We estimate 20 inches will be cut this day, but it could be a bit more.  You can also pledge a flat rate, too.  We are hoping to raise $200.00  Alex's Lemonade Stand was started by a little girl who was herself a cancer patient. By hosting a lemonade stand in her community, she created a movement that brings money to a variety of programs to help treat and cure childhood cancers. Locks for Love takes human hair and creates wigs, primarily for children afflicted with cancer or other diseases.
