At the beginning of 2010 the staff at LVR decided to choose a charity to support during each quarter of the year. We wanted to choose something relevant for the season. One of our staff members had recalled reading about Alex's Lemonade Stand. What a great organization to support, not only at a national level, but at a local level since several of our staff members knew of local children who had been affected by leukemia. In 2007, two local girls were diagnosed at the same local elementary school. Being in the healthcare fieldwe see children that have been affected by cancer and it was only natural for us to support a health related charity. Please help Longview Radiology in its support for childhood cancer. Visit our Lemonade Stand every Friday from July 9 through July 23rd 12:00-3:00 and help us raise money for childhood leukemia- "one cup at a time!"
