🍋Chicago Marathon 2024: Hi everyone it's Gage, I am excited to share that I've joined forces with Alex's Lemonade stand, and we're committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of children battling cancer. My goal is to turn every step into a victory for these brave kids by running in the 2024 Chicago Marathon!

🍋Squeeze Out Childhood Cancer: Contributions directly fund ground breaking research aimed at finding better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for childhood cancer. Every $50 raised provides 1 hour of research.

While my run is dedicated to all of the brave heros, I want to share Arianna Hines's story:

Arianna was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma MYCN amplified at 13 months old.

Arianna's first rounds of treatments were harmful, leading to her experiencing terrible reactions. Arianna, her family, and doctors were able to stay hopeful, and persistent that they would find the right treatment. Eventually, doctors suggested Arianna undergo a 2 year DFMO trial. This polyamine inhibitor trial that prevents cancer cells from maturing was a success! Since March 2022 there has been no evidence of the disease, and Arianna was able to continue living her best life with the same bright spirit she kept throughout the whole process. 

Now, at 5 years old, Arianna is a firecracker that is always on the move, going to preschool full time and living her best life with her friends and loved ones.

With the help from Alex's Lemonade Stand and the wonderful doctors, today her family celebrates their amazing bright spirited daughter.
