I am a mother of one tough warrior. Corbin was born in stage IV ms Nueroblastoma he was diagnosed at 2 months old. He started his chemotherapy treatmeant at 4 months old. He did 4 rounds of chemotherapy, had good scans then relapsed shortly after . We started chemotherapy again and completed 5 rounds . This September will mark Corbin’s one year of no chemotherapy and all his scans have been clean. I wanted to do this lemonade stand in hopes to give something to the research of Children’s cancer. Learning through all this how underfunded childhood cancer research is I wanted to do something. I hope in years to come families will never have to go through what Corbin had to go through and will have to continue for his whole life.
We are holding a fundraiser to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! You can join me by attending my event, or making a donation right to this page. The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Please help kids and their families by providing desperately needed hope!
Every day, there are almost 800 new cases of childhood cancer around the world. This adds up to an estimated 300,000 new cases of cancer that affect children under the age of 20 each year worldwide. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded with less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research dedicated to childhood cancers each year.
