About Elizabeth "Liz" Frank
Our beloved Liz was an MS4 Baylor College of Medicine student close to achieving her dream of becoming a pediatrician specializing in oncology. She was committed to compassionately helping children and their families fight cancer. Liz was also passionate about increasing critical funding for pediatric cancer research. She had dedicated herself to a life of service, science, and medicine. Liz loved children and possessed an innate ability to connect with them. A former competitive gymnast, she spent high school summers teaching children the sport she loved. During college summers, she worked at the Ronald McDonald House in NYC. Between college and medical school, she worked as a data analyst at Dana Farber's Center for Pediatric Cancer Therapeutics. Liz inspired others by her resilience and perseverance in the face of personal health challenges. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and the innumerable children whose lives she would have impacted as a future pediatrician.
