Hello everyone, I am an 8th Grader at Central Middle School. This year for my Captstone project I am focusing on the effects cancer has on people. For those of you who don't know the Capstone project is the year ending project that 8th graders do to wrap up their middle school experience by demonstrating all of the knowledge they have gained over the last 3 years. I was inspired to choose this as my topic because I was affected by childhood cancer. In 2015, when I was in 2nd grade, I was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. When I heard that we would be doing an action plan I was more excited than ever to get the opportunity to help kids fight against this deadly disease. The money donated will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Please help kids and their families by providing desperately needed hope! Thanks for your support!
