When
KENNAH WILSON HAS SHAVED HER HEAD!
Yes, you read that right and she was joined by 2 friends: Eva and Ronin!
Kennah and Emily were the best of friends, more like sisters. Kennah decided recently (all on her own) that she needed to go big, EXTREME, to promote childhood cancer awareness for better treatment and a cure.
On her 12th birthday we kicked off this fundraiser. Shaving of heads happened on October 3 (Emily's 4th death anniversary).
Joining her was Eva, her new precious friend who lost her dad to cancer when she was little. She’s also 12.
Ronin, Emily’s sweet friend she met in Pre Kindergarten and loved to the end, at the age of 10 joined in the EXTREME and shaved his head too.
These kids, all on their own, have decided Emily’s death should mean something and care enough to forget about vanity at this significant age to make a HUGE statement.
Please show these kids that you support them by helping them reach their goal. The goal is $3,400. Their ages, 12, 12, and 10 combined, 34 times 100 people. If 100 people donate $34 each, these kids will reach their goal of $3,400.
This site will be up and running till the end of the day on Emily’s birthday. Kennah’s birthday (September 25) through Emily’s birthday (November 16).
- Pray for these kids. Losing someone close to you because of cancer is devastating to children.
- Donate today. Any amount is welcome.
- Plan to donate before November 16 if you cannot today.
- Share this with as many people as you can. Help us spread the word.
- All donations $5 and up are TAX DEDUCTABLE and go towards neuroblastoma cancer research through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation founded by the parents of Alexandra Scott who fought the same cancer as Emily and passed away as well.
Thank you Kennah, Eva, and Ronin!!!!! Emily would be right there with you (although I don’t think she’d want to shave her head) but you know she would be cheering you on and celebrating your cause. We are cheering you on and celebrating YOU!
