Every September during Pediatric Cancer Awareness month, my local Girl Scout Troop does a community fundraiser for research as well as goes #GoGold by putting gold ribbons on trees or other gold decorations to help bring awareness. This year due to COVID19 and social distancing practices we are not allowed to gather in person as a Troop. So we were ask to think of ways we could still raise money, awareness and #GOGOLD!

My favorite way in the past has been to do a Lemonade Stand in front of my Grandma's house. My mom helped me find a way to still host a lemonade stand this year! The proceeds from this fundraiser will go specifically to help offset costs of travel for treatment for families.

So while I may not be pouring you that cool refreshing drink in person, just think of how kool you still are by helping me raise money for such a important cause!
