In the past 13 years, Joyce Kilmer has raised $50,362 in our fundraising efforts! Last year's total was an amazing $5,708 and we blasted past our goal of reaching the 50K mark. This year in light of our current pandemic, we are holding a virtual event with a goal of $2,000. We realize that times are hard for everone, so even if you can donate just a dollar, it will help! We are going to initiate a $5 challenge to those that are able to donate.

This year our event will be held in memory of my own mom, Patricia Roskey. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer (out of the blue) on September 23, 2019 and lost her battle on December 21, 2019. My mom supported my love for this organization for 13 years and I'm honored to honor her memory this year. 

We hope to help as many kids as possible while helping children of all ages see that they can make a difference, regardless of their age! We hope to make this year just as successful as our previous years! Joyce Kilmer is proud of our success in helping kids. The 5th grade students are going to be researching childhood cancer heroes and sharing what they have learned via video on June 5th.

This year we are sponsoring our 9th hair donation campaign for the Children With Hair Loss Foundation. I will be planning a summer event for all those wishing to donate their hair. Details to follow when available.
