Let's find a cure!
The 2019 Alamogordo High School Varsity Football Team has dedicated our football season to Alamogordo's Ariana Diaz. Ariana is a 6th grader at Mountain View Middle School and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Osteosarcoma and her cancer has spread to her lungs. She was diagnosed on July 12th, 2018 and had to have her right leg amputated. We are so excited to have Ariana as our Team Captain this season and will be playing every down for her and her family as she fights this horrible disease. Ariana - Your Fight is Our Fight. #FamilyOverEverything.
We are also teaming up with Kick-it.org to cure childhood cancer one point at a time! Through the Kick-It For Cancer program, we are committed to raising awareness and funds for children's cancer research. With every field goal and extra point we make this season, we will all score big. You can help by making a PLEDGE (Ex. $2 per point x 40 total points = $80 towards childhood cancer research) or you can make a one-time DONATION toward our goal of $1,000 by the end of the season. Thank you for supporting our efforts to help kick childhood cancer. Together we can bring hope to thousands of kids waiting for a cure and truly make a difference.
