Rain or shine, stop by our Lemonade Stand! Please join us in the fight against childhood cancer, and to remember & honor 2 amazing kids. We're dedicating our stand in memory of Kaiden Schroeder & Re' Ana Mekaeil. We'll be set up at the corner of Oak & Olive in McPherson. We're just 1 block south of First St on Oak or 3 blocks east of Main St on Olive. We're planning to serve lemonade for a freewill donation from 9am to 12:30pm, Saturday, June 8th. You can stop by & enjoy a glass of lemonade or if you're in a hurry, just pull up & drop a cash or check donation in the bucket. We'll have someone close to the curb to help you out. 100% of your donation will go directly to Alex's Lemonade Stand! Forms will be available if you'd rather take one and mail your donation yourself. We'd like to thank Kaiden & Re'Ana's families, for the honor of dedicating our stand in their memory. Both Re'Ana & Kaiden had a love of sports. Re'Ana loved playing softball. Kaiden not only loved supporting K-State football but had a great love for anything baseball. Both of these kids had smiles that could light up any room.❤ Re' Ana & Kaiden were true warriors & hero's in the battle they both faced.

Every day, there are almost 700 new cases of childhood cancer around the world. This adds up to an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 each year worldwide. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded with less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.
