We love Luca and his parents, Matt and Sandra!
Hi! My name is Caleb and I'm holding a fundraiser to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer. I’ll be dedicating my season to kids with cancer by turning my stats into life-saving research dollars.
I recently joined a new club this season and play for their 2007 GPL team. Right away, I could tell that FC Sudamerica was different. It was a family. When I was asked to help step in and be one of the keepers for the 2006 team because their goalkeeper had recently been diagnosed with a childhood cancer, I immediatly knew that I wouldn't just be filling in for him in the net. I wanted to dedicate my entire season and play in his honor and help raise funds in his name that can help cure this horrible disease. So, this season I will be playing on multiple teams and dedicating them to Luca Butterworth. I hope you will join me in praying for him and his family. It is an honor to hold down his spot in the net until he can come back with his team and even more of an honor to help raise funds to help kids of all ages.
Please make a donation of any amount toward my fundraising goal. The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. You can help kids and their families by providing desperately needed hope!
You can donate a lump sum donation or pledge any amount you are able towards every "Clean Sheet" I achieve this season. (That is soccer talk for not allowing any goals as a goalkeeper during each game!)
Thank you for the donation. I am excited to begin another season with Alex's Lemonade Stand and hope to raise awareness and help to one day find a cure for childhood cancer.
