Two years ago my sister was in the hospital and during my visits to Duke Children’s Hospital to see her I saw several kids with cancer that unfortunately did not get to go home. I looked at my beautiful, healthy little boy and my heart just ached for those kids and families who had been in that hospital for months. What amazed me most were that those kids still had beautiful smiles on their faces even though they were in pain and confined the four walls of a hospital. With that being said, I'm holding a fundraiser to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer!
