Welcome to our 9th year at the Lemon Run! So much has changed since that first year in 2010, the year Claire was diagnosed.  That first Lemon Run, Claire was in the hospital at the time. One of her many nights (weeks) during those next 2 1/2 years.  We are so grateful to report that Claire is a happy, healthy 13 year old and those days and nights at CHOP are (almost) a distant memory. 

Our life has changed a lot since 2010. What hasn't changed much is the dismal state of childhood cancer funding. Still, only 4% of all government cancer funding goes to pediatric cancer resulting in almost no new drugs for children in decades.  ALSF has done a fantastic job of not only raising funds, but seeing that those funds go to researchers and doctors who can help change that.
