I think we can all agree that cancer sucks (and that’s putting it lightly). What’s worse is the unfortunate fact that children have to deal with it too. A 4-year-old girl who was diagnosed with cancer decided to raise money with a lemonade stand. That first stand raised $2,000 and Alex raised $1 million by her passing at 8 years old. She had a dream of ridding the world of cancer and her parents have kept that dream alive. I have decided to run the New York City Marathon for my 3rd consecutive year and I'm joining with Team Lemon to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! My wife lost one of her students, Kai, to cancer a few years ago; he was also 8 years old. My youngest, Brianna, is 4 and my oldest, Josh, is 8. I can’t imagine how children their age are faced with the reality of battling cancer. I’m writing to you because I need your help. Whether it’s $5 or $50 or more, every bit helps. Will you help my miles count for something more and help to keep Alex’s dream alive? You can support me by visiting my page, making a donation or joining me! The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Please help kids and their families by providing desperately needed hope! Thanks for your support!
