It's time!! Join us for our 2nd Annual Kick-It for Children's Cancer Kickball Game. Of course, we're celebrating Layla, so what better way than to throw on something purple, get out there and have some fun! It doesn't matter if you are a kickball pro or athletically challenged, it's all about raising awareness and money to cure childhood cancer...all while having fun and remembering one amazing little girl. Because we are growing, we are going to be doing things just a little bit differently this year. There are a few different options of how YOU can help. 1) form your own team within our page and start getting the word out to all your supporters to help us meet our fundraising goal, (for help with this, contact Amy at [email protected]) 2) you can simply join up on our page and start raising money towards our shared goal and we will place you on a team the day of the event (again, any questions about this should be directed at Amy), or 3) if you can't make it out for the event, you can simply donate to any player on our page or just to our game itself. There will be a trophy for the team who raises the most money, as well a prize for the top individual fundraiser. Anyone is welcome to play, but if you're not much for athletics, please feel free to just show up and support us, we want to make this HUGE!! Besides the game, there will be plenty of activities for the kids, food, drinks, prizes, and FUN!!nWe will have t-shirts for sale again this year, but in order to get one, we must have your order no later than June 20th, they will not be available after the event due to demand and the print schedule, so we highly encourage you to pre-order if you really want one. We raised over $2500 last year (our FIRST year...not to mention an additional $10K was raised by Nicole's school!) and we're looking to try and double that, so please join us for this amazing cause! Thanks in advance for all of your support!!! NOTE TO PLAYERS: Don't forget sunscreen and a water bottle! You may even want to bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on if you'd like.
