Join us as we grow our Nebraska presence in ALSF's "Midwest Lemonade Days!" It's our second year in Lincoln and we're excited to team up with Froggy 98's morning show crew of Gary, Nelson & Johanna who will be doing a live broadcast on June 2nd from 6-9am. You can visit us at the Super Saver on 27th and Pine Lake from 10m to 6pm on Fri, June 2nd and Sat, June 3rd as we raise money for researchers to find better treatments and cures for all types of pediatric cancers. Stop and see us for a delicious cup of lemonade donated by Auntie Anne's, Coke products from Chesterman's Coke and fresh baked cookies from Super Saver!
In 2016, ALSF was able to keep admin costs at 15% which means 85% of the money donated went to research. For our Lincoln stand, all costs are being taken care of by our generous sponsors, so 100% of the donations will go direct to ALSF to fund the most promising cancer research projects. If 4 year old Alex Scott who was going through her own cancer fight can think of others and want to help, surely we can too!
If you think your donation won't make a difference, think again! A donation of $50 funds one hour of research. $400 will fund one day, $2,000 will fund one week & $8,000 will fund one month! How exciting to know that it could be an hour of research YOU funded that may lead to that breakthrough so many children facing this ugly disease need!
Your online donations of $20 or more and in store donations of $10 or more will get you entered into a drawing for several autographed items from various athletes, coaches and local celebrities like Alex Gordon & John Cook, to name a few!
We are holding our stand in honor of the courageous fight of Kori Quinn. Kori was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma at the age of 13. Throughout her battle, there were several times she went into remission and her family breathed a sigh of relief. Due to the agressiveness of the disease, she relapsed 4 times and ultimately lost her fight at the age of 18, just 2 weeks after starting college, something that was very important to her. We fight in Kori's name in honor of her life and in hopes that the next child to walk in her shoes will have a better treatment available.
A BIG thank you to our sponsors! Auntie Anne's, Super Savers, Froggy 98, Mitch Happ's Allstate, Steph the Mortgage Genie, Chesterman's Coke, Tag Ink & Thread, and the Best of Big Red.
