I am joining in Alex Scott's hope to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer.  We are holding our stand in honor of the amazing Parker Underwood, who was diagnosed with leukemia (AML) at the age of 19 months.  He fought hard, enduring many surgeries, rounds of chemotherapy and even radiation.  It was eventually discovered he also had ALL.  Every step of the way, Parker always had a positive attitude and would even tell the nurses thank you when they would give him an injection or change his dressing.  He lit up every room he entered and had major impacts on the doctors, nurses and other patients.  He also adored his older sister, Payton and his younger sister Paige (who was born during his treatment).   After 9 long months, he lost his battle to this terrible disease, cancer.
