We started our stand seven years ago to honor the memory of our friend, Henry Keating Scheck, who passed away on February 25, 2009 at the age of four.  For the last four years, our stand honored Henry as well the memory of our friend Rehanna Lydon.  Rehanna was our honorary hostess five years ago, and she thoroughly enjoyed herself that day.  But sadly, she passed away just five weeks later on August 1, 2011 at the age of 11. 

We were so inspired by the fun that Rehanna had at our stand in 2011 that we created a new event three years ago for our Alex's Lemonade Stand called “help '12.”  This year, we hope that “help '16” will be an even bigger success and more pediatric cancer patients and survivors will have a chance to hope, enjoy, laugh and play together. 

Over the past seven years, our family has raised over $120,000.
