Hey everyone!  I've been working super hard to raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.  This is a cause near to my heart because I will be approaching 30 years cancer free!  I am Wilms Tumor survivor and will be celebrating this by running 13.1 miles at the Disney Princess Half Marathon on my 31st birthday! I'm so excited to be a part of Team Lemon on February 23rd, 2014.  Discovering running has helped me in so many ways to lead a more frutiful life and I can't imagine a better way to celebrate this milestone.  I'm very lucky because I've been able to have a future and give back to my community as a teacher and a mentor with a fantastic group, Students Run Philly Style.  My dream is to see that no child or family will ever have to go through the pain of dealing with the disease or the losses that cancer can cause. 

Originally, I was trying to reach 2000 dollars, but through kind and generous donations, I was able to go past that! Now I would like to reach 3100 because I'll be running on my 31st birthday!  Can you please help me reach my goal? 

I'm running in the honor and memory of some amazing kids too. Nathanael Kurtz is currently experiencing his own battle with Wilms Tumor.  Shane Pettine and AJ Richter sadly lost their battles.  I'd like to honor their struggles and memories with my efforts!
