I’m running 50 MILES this month for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to raise funds so we can find a cure for all childhood cancers. I am one of MANY young adults suffering from the long term effects of the harsh radiation and poisonous chemicals used to treat childhood cancer. It's frustrating to know that the miraculous treatment that "saved my life" in 2007 is also the poison that most likely caused this silly thyroid cancer to show up. I dream of a world where innocent children don't have to suffer. I dream of a world where medicine makes you better, not sicker. I want to make a difference, so I am running for a cure.
