Hello to all! I will finally be running my first marathon on October 27th. What makes this event special you ask? It's a Marine Corps Marathon. And what makes this event even more special than a Marine Corp Marathon you ask? Well I'm running it for a good cause; Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Alexandra Scott (1994-2006) had the brilliant idea at the age of 4 to start a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. So here I am along with thousands of others running the marathon under her name. I hold this charity close to me because both of my parents were treated for cancer. Most of us can say that we have had a friend or at least know of someone that has suffered from cancer. So please, if you can help out a good cause!
