The Giving Box fundraising page was inspired by a friend I have made since living in Ambler. Her precious five year old son had a school project that consisted of keeping a giving box and putting his change in it. He decided that at the end of his project, that he would donate the money to the Gavin Strong Fund! He wrote me a hand written card with an envelope containing $133.00. Since then, he has decided to continue doing this random act of kindness, and has encouraged members of his family to do the same. I encourage others to do the same with their kiddos and the loose change they gather! What a selfless act that I'm sure we all could do so easily.
