For the past couple years I have been a pediatric oncology nurse at a children's hospital. These little fighters have stolen my heart and inspired me to do more. On October 12th I will lace up my shoes and run the Chicago Marathon. I have chosen to run for the charity Alex's Lemonade Stand. Alex was a cancer patient who raised money for cancer research through her lemonade stands. She earned her angel wings but her legacy continues through the foundation.
