Hi friends and family, Throughout my short life, I have experienced many humbling moments, including witnessing children not being given the opportunity to truly live while others take life for granted. Growing up, I was the kid that always caught the seasonal cold making me spend far too much time in the hospital [covered by my dad's military insurance]. I learned very early on to stop complaining in the waiting room about my ear infections or stomach pains, because unfortunately, littered throughout my many hospital visits, there was always a child closed to my age with a terminal disease, cancer, or severe irreversible injuries. These children that shared a waiting room with me continue to be my inspiration to do anything I can to protect children's opportunity for life.
