I started training in late 2010 by running marathons after I lost my Mom to a 6+ year battle to cancer. With a dozen or so races under my belt, I am now training for a new challenge - Ironman 70.3 in Syracuse NY in June. In this effort, I am helping raise money for Alex Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Why Alex Lemonade Stand Foundation? My wife and I met Mario Carpino a few years ago. He has been battling inoperable brain tumors since Dec 2007. He lives life with tremendous passion and courage. Mario has been running his own lemonade stand for the past 3 years, and I would like to get him started off strong by fundraising on his behalf as I prepare formy race.
