About Dave Frankel

Dave Frankel was an accomplished broadcast journalist most known for his time as a weatherman on "Action News" in Philadelphia, and he was a dedicated attorney who passionately advocated for children with special needs. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend, who formed deep and meaningful connections throughout his life. Dave was one of Alex's Lemonade Stand's biggest supporters. For many years, he proudly emceed Alex's "Original" Lemonade Stand and was the auctioneer at The Lemon Ball. Dave cherished his moments with Alex and his friendship with Alex's parents, Jay and Liz.
