About Trey
This page has been created in honor of Gregory Lowman III, whom we call Trey. Our son Trey was diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (ATRT) a rare and aggressive brain cancer at age two. Trey’s journey has inspired us to advocate fiercely for pediatric cancer awareness and support. The Grey for Trey Hero Fund under Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF) was created to honor Trey's battle with ATRT. ATRT affects mostly children under three, with only 58 cases reported nationwide each year. Our mission is to continue Trey's legacy by spreading joy, raising awareness about ATRT, celebrating the resilience of young cancer fighters, and fostering hope. ALSF was there for our family when we faced a nightmare that no family should ever have to face.
Partnering with ALSF, we transform life's challenges into opportunities. Cancer completely turned our lives upside-down, but we hope to turn our pain into purpose. Childhood cancer research is underfunded, and only receives 4% of the federal government's annual cancer research budget. You can help make a big difference in the fight for better treatments and cures.
All donations collected support Trey’s Hero Fund, benefiting Flashes of Hope—a part of Alex's Lemonade Stand—which provides free portrait photography to children battling cancer, offers family support, and funds pediatric cancer research. Your participation would mean a lot to us and the families we aim to support. By raising awareness and encouraging more people, especially within our community, we can help and provide hope to families in need. No family can fight cancer alone. Together, as a community, we can make a significant difference in the lives of children fighting cancer.
Thank you for your support and consideration!
