Madison Smith (8 years old) was diagnosed on November 9, 2010 with a brain stem glioma.  On February 3, 2011 we also found out that she has diffused astrocytoma tumors throughout her spine.

Madi spends her time doing crafts, playing her iPod touch and reading.  She also loves spending time with her family and friends.  Madi wants to be a daycare provider when she grows up.  She loves playing with babies and little kids.  She can’t wait to start babysitting!

The support for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is used to help with finding a cure.  As for Madison’s diagnosis of the brain stem glioma, we were given little hope because there is minimal information and treatments for brain cancer.  We are fighting like crazy in hopes that we can find something to cure our daughter.  These funds could bring us closer or even right to the front door of a cure.  Every little bit will help.

We have been blessed with an amazing little girl. She has shown us great strength and faith in her journey.  She smiles and enjoys every minute she has and that has shown us to live life differently.  We are fighting daily for a cure!!!
