Caden was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in August of 2010. He started chemotherapy immediately, and high dose steroids. He gained 10lbs in less than a month’s time! He has had a few bumps along the way and spent nearly a month in the hospital with pneumonia that he had very little ability to fight. Several delays, losing his hair and too many transfusions to count, he is finished with the most intense part of treatment. He will still have 2.5 more years of chemo to go, bringing his total time on treatment to 3.5 years. Despite it all, Caden is always smiling. He is a little boy with a BIG heart. He is currently kicking leukemia's butt and we hope and pray that he will be cancer free forever!
