Vincent is a funny, silly, inquisitive and carefree boy. He is very sweet to his brother and sister. He thinks they are the best siblings in the whole world and loves them to pieces. His favorite video game is Clash of Clans and he likes eating macaroni and cheese.
Vincent’s mother is proud of her SuperSib for his helpfulness in taking care of his siblings the last 3 years, his patience with Mommy and Daddy, and his ability to seek out an activity he has interest in and work at it until he does it well! Vincent is loving, patient and helpful.
Vincent has seen both his little brother and little sister go through chemo, radiation and surgery. He had to stop martial arts after two classes because his brother was diagnosed and the family was very busy. He just started going back to classes this week after a month break. Mommy and Daddy have been sad and more frustrated lately and haven't been there the way they would want for Vincent. His life has been disrupted, he has had to stay at Grandma and Papa's from time to time and his family has had to postpone a vacation to visit his other grandparents in Arizona. He has had to deal with this so much and his mother worries about what will be going through his mind later in life as he really realizes the craziness that is happening in their lives during this time.
It has been helpful for Vincent to know that gifts from SuperSibs are his and his alone. It is good for him to feel helpful and needed.
His family reminds him to appreciate all help and that they all can lend a hand to those in need. Getting little gifts in the mail for him too, not just for his brother and sister, makes him feel included and not forgotten by others.
SuperSib quote: "It may seem like I don't care about Anthony's sickness, but it’s just that Talia was okay, and I think Anthony will be okay, too."
