Gamma Sigma Sigma is a national service sorority that brings individuals of all backgrounds together in the spirit of service. There are more than 80 collegiate and alumni chapters across the country that volunteer and plan projects to support campus and community service needs. In addition, individual members continue service outside of their chapter and after graduation.
Gamma Sigma Sigma chapters, colonies, and members have partnered with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) since 2007 when Liz Scott was named the sorority's Woman of the Year. With this partnership, sorority members strive to serve with ALSF at least once and year. Service may consist of hosting lemonade stands and other events, attending The Lemon Ball, participating in The Million Mile, or spreading awareness and volunteering at ALSF events. Individual, chapter, and national projects are developed to provide a concentrated level of service to the nation.
