On Alex’s Angel Anniversary in 2017, I wrote a letter to my sister about everything she meant to me over the years. Today, on the eve of what would have been her 25th birthday, I want to share a portion of that letter with you:

a stand for hope telethon

Childhood cancer does not take a break because of COVID-19 and neither does Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Children need our help more than ever. 

This year the 14th Annual Alex Scott: A Stand for Hope Telethon hosted by CBS 3 is going virtual. Alex at her first lemonade stand

Today is the rare collision of the day our daughter Alex passed away at the age of 8 and the start of Lemonade Days.

There are dozens of sayings related to rare occurrences — catchphrases like “one in a million” or “once in a blue moon” or “lightning never strikes the same spot twice” or “once in a lifetime.”
