The Childhood Cancer Blog

Wear your support on your sleeve (literally)!

Home » Blog

In recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Day tomorrow, September 13, and the fight against childhood cancer, we’re asking everyone to wear our signature color of yellow and to encourage your friends, family members, coworkers, etc…to do the same. It’s a popular color this year in apparel and the opportunities to wear the sunny shade are endless! Need some inspiration? A few fun ways to wear yellow (beyond the traditional t-shirt) are captured in the photos of some of our supporters below.

Don’t have anything to wear tomorrow? We have plenty of yellow ALSF gear at our office outside of Philadelphia (stop by and see us) or our online gift shop is always open. Designate your own “wear yellow day” this month or any day or the year. Remember, it’s all about awareness this month, so tell people why you’re wearing yellow and spread the word to make a difference.

Everyone (pets included) can show their support.
