September may be over, but there is still time to show your Strawberry Shortcake spirit on behalf of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer. As you may know, Strawberry Shortcake has been a supporter of ALSF for two years now, helping to garner attention for the cause during National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Well, this year, they have extended their efforts into October and are inviting supporters to enjoy the fall weather by hosting a Strawberry Shortcake Lemonade Stand. Need more incentive to host a stand as the leaves fall? Well, Strawberry Shortcake will donate $50 for each stand registered – that’s on top of the funds you are able to raise!

The staff at Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation was thrilled when we received a check for nearly $1.6 million from Toys“R”Us this week. As you may recall, Toys“R”Us held their first fundraising drive for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation this summer, and clearly it was a huge success. We are so thankful to the efforts of Toys“R”Us and look forward to working with them again next year.
