Another National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (September) is in the books, thanks so much to everyone who read our series of blogs throughout the month and helped spread the word about the cause and the need for increased funding and support. It’s pretty ridiculous to think that childhood cancers (that’s 12 different disease types) continue to receive a mere 4% of the federal government’s total research budget.
