While the pandemic continues to bring uncertainty in the world, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) funded researchers are continuing to push ahead and make strides in the search for safer treatments and cures for all children. Fueled by ALSF funded research grants, these researchers utilize collaboration, innovation and cutting-edge science in their labs all around the world.
These researchers are aiming to not just level the playing field — but to give children what they need: cures and safer treatments.

Today my daughter, Alex, would have been turning 26 years old.
If she were here with us, we would probably be celebrating her special day as a family. Our tradition for years has been a dinner of the birthday person’s choice, followed by cake and presents. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a wonderful opportunity for everyone, everywhere to reflect on Dr. King’s wisdom and to find ways to serve their communities.
Last year, a Lemon Club at Camden Catholic High School in New Jersey installed an interactive mural at their school to inspire the school community to be the “I” in “Kind.” Lemon Clubs are student-led organizations at high schools and colleges that raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research.
