This September, I pledge to fight childhood cancer and honor Theo, one mile at a time by participating in The Million Mile! Help us move one step closer to finding cures for all kids with cancer by donating or joining my team.

Theo passed in April, 2021 at 5 years old from high-risk neuroblastoma.  During his near 3-year battle with cancer, he endured multiple treatments in the form of chemo, radiation, bone marrow transplants, and surgery at 4 different hospitals.  He participated in 3 different trials as we consulted with the top neuroblastoma specialists all over the country to help him.  If there was a way to save him, we would have found it.  There is currently no definitive cure for neuroblastoma.

Theo would have turned 9 this August, but he is forever 5.  His life inspired the creation of this team.  He handled his entire cancer journey with remarkable strength and courage.  He always kept a smile on his face.  We are walking, running or riding to celebrate him and hopefully give the gift of life to another kid on the journey.
