This is our third year participating, and the second where Meredith has been able to do the race herself. That first year was an incredible experience, with Mer ringing the bell to signal her final day at CHOP and going home cancer free. Two years later, she has had a clean biopsy and 100% bone marrow engraftment (don't forget that her big brother Josh was her willing, ready and able donor!) but has not forgotten any of the support she's had and continues to have to this day.

Meredith's is just one story of childhood cancer and many others don't have the same outcome. We fight on for those who went before her, and those whose lives will be forever altered in the future. Let's make those numbers equal ZERO by helping ALSF find cures, one cup at a time.
