I'm taking part in the Million Mile Challenge to help raise awareness and fund for childhood cancer. 

This cause is near and dear to me, and I'm walking in memory of Dylan Smith. Dylan, who was my oldest daughter's boyfriend and my "favorite child," fought Ewing's sarcoma for three years and became our angel on August 2.

No child should endure all that Dylan endured. Every child deserves a safe, happy childhood -- and a long, happy, healthy life.
