Hi Friends and Family!
After personally going through all that was involved in treating my Stage 4 cancer in 2020, I could not stop thinking about how absolutely horrible it must be for a child to endure the pain & fear of cancer treatment. As a mother, & grandmother,  I can’t think of anything  more devastating than helplessly watching your child suffer through chemotherapy, endless tests & doctor visits, not to mention the emotional pain and uncertainty that comes with this devastating disease.

I chose to get involved with ALSF’s Alex’s Lemonade Stand because I felt that this is something that my granddaughter Giuliana (& eventually Rocco) and I can do together every year to help children going through cancer.  Although Giuliana is only 3 years old, I feel it’s never too early for children to start  helping others.
