Corvin B, SuperSib

Corvin is 12 years old with a big heart and a quiet goofy side. He loves to draw and spend time with his cousins and parents. Someday, Corvin hopes to become a pilot. When he’s not hanging out with friends or playing video games, Corvin is supporting his sister Ashley as she battles acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

While Ashley was going back and forth between the hospital 2-3 times a week for treatment, their whole family worked hard to adapt. Corvin remained strong and managed to maintain a go-with-the-flow attitude as their lives were changing. With such a big heart, Corvin couldn’t help worrying about his sister, but Ashley persevered.

Although Corvin was quiet when their family was first adjusting to life after the diagnosis, when he eventually opened up, Corvin was full of questions. He always wanted to find a way to help and sought to better understand the things that his sister was going through.

Ashley is currently in remission, and Corvin’s family is so grateful for all of the friends and family who were there for him while his mom and dad couldn’t be there. Today, Corvin’s family is so grateful for the strong and caring person he continues to be for their family.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16
