The Brian Morden Foundation is participating in Alex's Million Mile 2016 to help move us closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! Every year an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide. That's about 700 new kids affected every day. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded. Less than 5% of our federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.

Kids with cancer don't have time to wait. Your donation will go to research seeking lifesaving treatment. The money you give has the potential to make a huge difference for these kids and their families.

As Brian's mom and on behalf of our local children, some of whom you may know or have met, the Brian Morden Foundation Board of Directors and I are asking you to please participate in Alex’s Million Mile project and give as you are able! The BMF is one of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’s charity partners and we are delighted to lend our support to this project. We’re positive that this will be the year we break that million mile barrier and hopefully raise enough funds to expedite the research to find a cure!
