FAQs

What is an ALSF memorial page?

An ALSF Memorial page is a webpage that gives family members and friends the opportunity to not only remember their loved ones, but also to make tribute donations in their memory. Users have the ability to upload photographs and share stories to the page as well as be shared across social media accounts. All ALSF Memorial pages remain online (unless otherwise requested) to allow family members and friends to visit at any time.

Who can be memorialized?

Any family member or friend may make a memorial page and any person can be memorialized. Your loved one did not need to pass away from cancer to be remembered on our website. We want all families to have a place to share memories and photos.

How long does it take to create a memorial page?

It takes less than five minutes to create the basics of the page. After that, the page can continue to have content added or edited.

How can others see the memorial page?

Once a memorial page has been created friends and family can be invited to view the page and access it directly. Links can also be emailed and shared on social media platforms. Family and friends can also look up a loved one by using the search function on AlexsLemonade.org.

Can people donate through the memorial page?

Yes, people who visit a memorial page have the option to make a donation to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in memory of your loved one.

Will I be notified of any donations made in my loved one’s memory?

Absolutely! When creating the memorial page, you will have the option of receiving the names by email, mail or both.

Who edits and updates a memorial page?

When you create a memorial page, you will enter your email address and choose a password to edit the page. Once in edit mode, photos and text can be added, edited or deleted. When visitors make a donation to the page, they can add messages that will appear in a special guest book section.

How long do memorial pages stay online?

The memorial page will not be removed unless requested and your loved one’s legacy will live on forever.
