This year my Kindergarten classes will be doing three different service learning projects. The first one is coins for childhood cancer. We are raising money to help "fight" childhood cancer. The attached photo is a picture of my own children and their friends with our HERO, Trey Love. The money our Kindergarten classes raises goes directly to "Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, a registered 501c3 charity. Careful distribution of our grants allows doctors to bring the latest and most promising life-saving treatments to seriously ill children. These grants provide hope for childhood cancer patients.
