Please join me in honoring my fellow pediatric cancer families by supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). In November 2005, our son Alex was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma. He is alive today because of organizations like ALSF who recognize the need for pediatric cancer research funding – without it there would be no first day of school, drivers ed or graduation parties for my Alex and many of our friends. I am running the NYC Marathon for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation because, like our family, Alex Scott knew at an early age that research saves lives. Alex Scott did not beat Neuroblastoma but her little lemonade stand has grown to be the most well respected vehicles of hope for kids with cancer. By joining me in funding research through ALSF, you can make a difference in the lives of kids battling cancer today and in the future. Without research we would not have a son. Without research there is no hope for a better tomorrow. Please join me in continuing Alex Scott’s legacy of making lemonade from lemons by donating to my NYC Marathon run. Thank you.
