Thank you for visiting this webpage in support of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. The goal of this project is two fold, to raise awareness of the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and also to collect many small donations that will snowball into one larger donation on behalf of the Bloomsburg University community. For one full week, students and residents of the community will have the opportunity to give loose change to the organization via the Change Childhood Cancer Project. To complement this change drive, Friday September 28th, residents will have an opportunity to come out and participate in the first ever Lemon Toss for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation located at the Academic Quad. In this event, individuals will sign up for a small donation of $2 to test their skills at a lemon toss game. 45 seconds will be given to the teams of two to toss lemons (underhand toss) to their partner who will be 25 feet from them. The receiving partner will then need to catch the lemons into the bucket they will be given at the start of their turn. Sounds easy right? BUT WAIT, the bucket MUST be raised directly above the head of the receiver by the receiver and remain there when the lemon is tossed into it. In simpler words, the object of the lemon toss is to catch all the lemons into the bucket while the bucket is on top of the head of the receiver. Sign-ups and donations for this event will be on a walk-in basis or students may sign up for the event with the $2 donation at the front desk of each residence hall. There will be prizes given to the members of the first place team, but please, do it to support the cause. Thanks for your support!! See you on the 28th on the Academic Quad. -Randall Enish, Event Coordinator
