Halle is the exact same age right now as Alex was when she lost her battle with a form of cancer called neuroblastoma.  Halle and Alex have a lot of the same interests and would have been wonderful friends.

In her short life, Alex made an enormous difference in the world through her determination to help find a cure for pediatric cancer.

By helping Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, you are helping fulfill Alex's dream, Halle's reality, and the future of kids who will be diagnosed with cancer. Much of the money is used to fund lifesaving childhood cancer research. The donations are also used to support families battling cancer, and to fund pediatric oncology nursing research and grants (to improve quality of life and care as the children are in treatment, battling cancer). It is a wonderful and worthy organization.

FYI: Halle is an Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation Hero and she is currently in remission from medulloblastoma, a rare brain cancer.
